I decided to do some work for Anjuta. They announced a list of tasks of which some have a bounty, so this is a great opportunity to earn some money for Open Source Programming. I am working on improving the class generator plugin to allow to add members, properties signals etc. The challenge is to design a good User Interface so using the Class Generator is actually faster than typing the resulting code by hand.
This also was a good opportunity to try out Glade 3 (and also to use glade finally for something productive and not just playing around). So I setup a dialog window in glade after some discussion with the Anjuta main developer and just when I got to some final details it didn't react for some seconds and then bug-buddy appeared. And no, I did not do any backup until then. Why does not Gentoo have Glade 3.0.2 yet. However, building the same dialog again required me only one more hour of work instead of two.
Another idea that came up was coding an obby plugin for Anjuta. Guess I will have a look into this when Johannes (Anjuta developer) completed the libanjuta C++ bindings.
